On Memorial Day, ThinkCash sponsored the 2009 Texas State Criterium Championships in Fort Worth.  It’s the largest 1-day bike race in North Texas with over 500 participants and 3,500 spectators.  The event featured a wide range of races for both men and women, including a professional race with thousands of dollars in cash prizes.  Just as importantly, the event supported a good cause, raising over $10,000 for the Fort Worth Police Bicycle Patrol.

In 2008, ThinkCash started a corporate cycling team — Team ThinkCash — to promote fitness across the company and in the local community.  Team ThinkCash’s own Anthony M. raced in the Category 5 event at this year’s state championship.

The highlight of the day for everyone was the kids’ race.  Kids as young as two years old were able to ride the finishing stretch on the race course with hundreds of spectators cheering them on.  Each child received a participant medal and a bottle of chocolate milk courtesy of Borden’s.

This sponsorship is only the beginning of ThinkCash’s committment to serving the community through its cycling team.  Stay tuned for more exciting announcements this summer.
